Position: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our client's team. It's a fast emerging young company in the green mobility and transportation business.  

The COO will play a critical role in driving the company's growth and success by overseeing all aspects of our operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of implementing successful strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee day-to-day operations of the company and ensure smooth functioning of all departments

- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity

- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and make strategic recommendations

- Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute long-term goals and strategies for the company

- Manage and mentor a team of department heads to ensure a high level of performance and employee engagement

- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders

- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards

- Prepare and present regular reports to the CEO and board of directors on the company's performance and progress towards goals

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue for the company

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA preferred

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior management role, preferably as a COO or similar position in logistics, transportation or supply chain industry.

- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a team in a fast growing and innovative environment

- Strong business acumen and understanding of financial management principles

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills

- Ability to think strategically and make sound business decisions

- Experience in developing and implementing operational policies and procedures

- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards

- Proven ability to drive growth and increase revenue

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
